The Panthers left his gear hanging in their locker room after the game while packing up the rest of the team. That would suggest Huberdeau was not on Florida's charter flight to California on Sunday night.
Drew Shore could be called up from AHL San Antonio for the upcoming four-game west coast set.

Panthers coach Peter Horachek will start Dan Ellis in goal. Ellis, acquired in a trade for Tim Thomas, will make his first start as a Panther.
"There are back-to-back games and Roberto Luongo is not going to play every game," Horachek said. "There is a home game [Friday], so maybe it was a good place for him to go back in. He's going to play some games down the stretch, so we have to pick some games and this was the one."

Florida Panthers defenseman Erik Gudbranson's lower-body injury isn't as severe as the team feared, but Gudbranson nonetheless will be out of the lineup for at least two weeks.
Gudbranson will miss the game against the Phoenix Coyotes at BB&T Center on Tuesday night and will be joined on the sidelines by forward Jesse Winchester, who also is out with a lower-body injury.

Defenseman Erik Gudbranson had to be helped into the Florida locker room after taking a hit to the knee from Marchand.
Gudbranson hit the ice and was slow to make his way back to the bench.
Horachek said he didn't have a status update following the game. Florida was expected to recall a defenseman from AHL San Antonio anyway, so that move could come Monday.

Florida also dealt AHL winger Eric Selleck to St. Louis for forward Mark Mancari. The Panthers sent Doug Janik to the AHL's Chicago Wolves for future considerations.
Mancari, 28, had nine goals and 22 assists for the Wolves this season. Mancari has played in 42 NHL games for Buffalo and Vancouver; his last NHL action came over six games with the Canucks in 2011-12.
